Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection. sachavonkarl74
This is horrifying - in such a fantastically bloody way. Icicles form between each empty space - an occasional guitar riff warms the edges. There’s no stopping the madness in these vocals. J. Wukotich
Really great, fucked up sounding, like evil creatures locked away for eons in a dungeon for eons stumbling upon devil music to keep insanity at bay. Very heavy but also very vampiric. Cool Maiden harmony guitars. Jono Schneider
